 This upgrade expands your sample
memory from the standard 1 meg to a full 8
megabytes, and gives you a 2nd sample
bank (Bank 9).
Made from refurbished memory modules (they
are no longer made), they have been carefully
matched, individually tested and auditioned
in a real TS keyboard for compatibility.
Why? The TS Keyboards are very
picky about the type of sample memory being used.
Using even slightly the wrong type can:
cause damage to the keyboard or
memory.
not work at all, or cause frequent
random OS errors.
seem to work fine, but cause
random clicks during playback.
Installation: fulll installation instructions
are included. if you've done this type of work
before (eg. upgrading a PC), you should be able to
install it yourself in around 10 minutes - it involves
removing the bottom case plate, removing two old memory
modules from their sockets, and plugging the new ones
in. If you're unsure, I recommend you ask someone
to fit it as you can potentially damage the upgrade, or
worse, the keyboard!
